Chim, Chim, Chimichuuuri!
Had a craving that wouldn’t quit so decided to try my hand at creating a homemade chimichurri recipe.
Delicious detox duo of parsley & cilantro, along with some good fat makes this quick & yummy recipe also healthy – yay! Just throw all the ingredients in a food processor (or blender prob works) and slather on whatever you’re eating that needs a kick of flavor! Although traditionally intended for steak, I loaded it on fish today, will prob try on salad too… Maybe with avocado to add some creaminess to it.
- 1 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp pink Himalayan salt
